TRIUMPH & TRAGEDY

A great leader; i couldn't decide to choose a president; warrior; artist or just a real person i know. But i chose Martin Luther King Jr.
Ive always felt inspired by his courage, strength & kindness.
Through the years; he endured the pain of being black; going to segregated schools and racism was very strong back in the 1930's to 1960's. Which is still around today but its not so segregated because of him. Martin Luther King fought for Civil rights but not just for the colored but for the whites too. Mr. King was not afraid to speak his mind; beliefs or fight for our freedoms. But because of his beliefs he was shot down on a balcony in  Memphis, Tenn. on April 4th by James Earl Ray. Though people remember the bad; like getting sentenced hard labor for sitting at a "whites-only" table.
But i like to remember the good. Mr.King wrote a speech and brought together over 200,000 people to washington to give his speech; "I have a dream" Today, that is one of the biggest speeches discussed in daily lifes; schools & finally Mr.King's dream came true. Here is a copy of the first half
I have a dream that one day on the red hills of Georgia the sons of former slaves and the sons of former slaveowners will be able to sit down together at the table of brotherhood. I have a dream that one day even the state of Mississippi, a state sweltering with the heat of oppression, will be transformed into an oasis of freedom and justice. I have a dream that my four little children one day will live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but the content of their character. I have a dream that one day every valley shall be exalted, every hill and mountain shall be made low. The rough places will be made plain and the crooked places will be made straight. This is the faith that I go back to the South with. With this faith we will be able to hew out of the mountains of despair the stone of hope. With this faith we will be able to work together, to pray together, to struggle together, to go to jail together, to stand up for freedom together, knowing we will be free one day.

Rest In Peace Martin Luther King Jr. Your dream finally came true. thank you for fighting & god bless your soul :)

life w/o ABC

Life without the alphabet. Until now I've never had to imagine it. To live without ABC's is like living without 123's. Without the alphabet you wouldn't have a name; a address; a school; you truly would have nothing.  The Alphabet gives man-kind personalitity. It helps us all become who we are. If we didnt have a alphabet; what would my name be? !_(^   i hope not. im grateful for the alphabet.

Resume Quickwrite

I Feel to be successful in acquiring a job, your must always have a resume & keep it updated. When i got my first job two years ago, i was stunned that they wanted a resume for a job at McDonald's. I'm glad my adviser at my high school got me prepared because i feel that my resume got me the job. I've been there for 2 years and currently i am in my training to be a manager in training. I had a second job for about two months and i also needed a resume to get that job. I feel that every time you bring a resume with you, you are more likely; in the future to add one more thing to your resume for future reference.
